The ketogenic diet consists of food made of mainly ketone bodies, and thus it does not cause an increase in insulin levels, and fat production does not start in our body, and that is the basic principle of the keto diet.

The ketogenic diet was invented in 1921 by Dr Russel Wilder. It is better from other diets because it does not involve fasting but to eat sugarless ketogenic food.

Your brain will be satisfied because you will be eating regular meals, and that allows this diet to go months or even a year.

One should not eliminate carbohydrates because our body needs some quantity of sugar for different purposes and also it is not very easy to stop eating sugar entirely because our body will start craving and that is the reason you should start by reducing sugar step by step, before talking about the ketogenic foods.
